I often have to replace my paint brushes, as I'm quite hard on them. I've tried different brands, but I'm looking for good acrylic brushes that will stand up to "scrubbing" and alot of glazing. Can anyone recommend a good brush? I also am looking for a brush that will produce fine lines.

After yesterday's General Meeting at the AGH, I was in Curry's and decided to try out some new brushes. They were really cheap - around $2.66 for ANY size. They are called Black Silver (by Dynasty - made in Taiwan). For cheap brushes, in my opinion, they rival more expensive brands (I work in acrylic). They keep their shape, and have incredible spring. You can't miss them, they have a black and silver handle. They are worth giving a try.
Here's another question: Sometimes I like to use gold paint in a painting, but I'm not happy with the intensity of the gold - Has anyone found an alternative, other than gold leaf, but with the intensity of gold leaf, that works?
